The Family
Wellness Program
is a range of services designed to address concerns families face
in relation to childbearing and parenting. There are different
services available, including individual counselling, information
sessions and group counselling.

- high risk pregnancy
- miscarriage & loss of pregnancy
- fertility concerns

- Postnatal Concerns

- connecting with your baby
- birthing traumas
- loss of a baby
Program Structure:
Sixty-minute sessions
of individual face-to-face counselling. The content is
designed according to individual need. The counselling includes:
Cognitive-Behavioural Therapy, Psychotherapy, Trauma Processing and
Grief Counselling.
Friday
Morning Information
Sessions (Coming Soon)
A series of 30 minute segments of information
provided on a weekly basis on Friday mornings from 9:15 - 9:45. Eight - 30 minute
information sessions will be provided to participants in a
classroom-like setting. You can select one or two from the
series, or attend all eight. You
can attend a session at anytime by calling Catherine at Afekt
Counselling or dropping
in without prior booking.

Friday Morning Conversations (Coming Soon)
After the
Information Sessions, from 9:45 - 10: 45 a
group session
will be held. Discussions will begin in relation to the topic of
the week and move on to include any concerns brought up by the group.
